Wan-Chu (Ellan) Hung
DVM, MS, DACVECC

Dr. Hung received her veterinary degree from National Taiwan University in 2014. She completed a small animal internship at the National Taiwan University Veterinary Hospital the following year. Afterward, she worked as an associated veterinarian in Taiwan for a few years before heading to the United Stated to pursue specialty training. In 2019, she earned a Master's degree from Purdue University. She completed a small animal rotating internship at University of Saskatchewan, Canada in the following year. Dr. Hung further advanced her expertise by completing a residency in small animal Emergency and Critical Care at Auburn University. In 2023, she achieved board certification from the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. Dr. Hung is now a Clinical Assistant Professor in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care at the University of Florida. Her areas of interest encompass microcirculation, sepsis, fluid therapy, hemodynamics, electrolytes abnormalities, and respiratory physiology.
