Ayako Kurakata graduated from the Department of Veterinary Nursing and Animal Health at Nippon Veterinary and Life Science University in 2020, beginning her career as a veterinary nurse. Since joining the Animal Medical Center for Specialized Medicine in the same year, she has been actively involved in patient care at the Emergency Center, focusing primarily on inpatient management. Through her experience in both daytime and nighttime emergency care, she has developed a strong passion for veterinary emergency medicine.

In addition to her work in the Emergency Center, Ayako has gained a wide range of skills through training in internal medicine, surgery, and neurology. In 2023, she obtained the National Veterinary Nurse Certification, further enhancing her expertise and dedication to improving animal healthcare.
