Dr. Ai Hori graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Rakuno Gakuen University in 2010 and began her career as a veterinary intern at the university's Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She specialized in diagnostic imaging, focusing on radiography, CT, and MRI examinations. After gaining experience in general practice at an animal hospital in Niigata City, she broadened her clinical skills further.

From 2013 to 2022, Dr. Hori returned to Rakuno Gakuen University's Veterinary Teaching Hospital, working as a radiology technician and later as an assistant professor. In 2021, she earned her Ph.D. in Veterinary Medicine, specializing in diagnostic imaging. During this time, she also obtained certifications as a Diplomate of the Japanese Society of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging and a First-Class Radiation Supervisor, enhancing her expertise in veterinary diagnostic imaging.

Since 2023, Dr. Hori has been practicing at Sapporo Night Animal Hospital, where she focuses on refining cases admitted during nighttime emergencies and conducting diagnostic imaging upon requests from other facilities. With her extensive clinical experience and advanced knowledge of diagnostic imaging, Dr. Hori continues to contribute to improving the quality of veterinary medicine.
