After graduating from Hokkaido University's School of Veterinary Medicine, he worked at a veterinary hospital in Kyoto. He then completed a residency at Hokkaido University Animal Medical Center, and in 2019 began working in internal medicine at Nara Animal Medical Center.
In 2020, he became a full-time veterinarian in the inpatient and intensive care fields, and in the same year became head of the anesthesiology and intensive care department. In recent years, he has written about inpatient care in veterinary medical journals and holds seminars on inpatient management for companion animal nurses.
