She is a member of the Department of Veterinary Health and Nursing, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Nippon Veterinary and Life Science University, Department of Veterinary Health and Nursing, Applied Veterinary Health and Nursing Sciences. She specializes in public health and is conducting research on infectious disease control measures at veterinary hospitals and zoonotic diseases based on knowledge gained in clinical settings. In addition, while working as a companion animal nurse at the university's Animal Medical Center, she has also established an in-hospital infection control team, planning and implementing countermeasures and educating staff.
