In 2014, he completed his doctoral studies in veterinary medicine at the Graduate School of Veterinary Life Sciences, Nippon Veterinary and Life Science University. After working at a veterinary hospital in Tokyo, he became an assistant at the Animal Medical Center affiliated with Nippon Veterinary and Life Science University in 2018. In 2019, he became an assistant professor at the Laboratory of Veterinary Internal Medicine, Department of Veterinary Medicine, at the same university, and will serve as a lecturer from 2022. He also serves in the Department of Cardiology at the Animal Medical Center. He is a certified veterinary cardiologist at the Japanese Society of Veterinary Cardiology and a founding director of the Japanese Society of Veterinary Echocardiography.
