Dr. Hung earned a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and obtained his veterinary license from National Taiwan University in 2014. The following year, he completed a small animal clinical internship at the National Taiwan University Veterinary Hospital. After several years of practice in Taiwan, he moved to the United States to pursue advanced specialty training.
In 2019, Dr. Hung earned a Master’s degree from Purdue University, followed by a small animal rotating internship at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada. He then completed a residency in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care at Auburn University, becoming a board-certified specialist of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (ACVECC) in 2023.
Currently, Dr. Hung serves as an Assistant Professor in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care at the University of Florida. His research interests include microcirculation, sepsis, fluid therapy, hemodynamics, electrolyte disorders, and respiratory physiology.
