Dr. Donaldson graduated from the University of Queensland in 2012 and completed a rotating internship at Queensland Veterinary Specialists/Pet Emergency in 2013 before working in referral and university hospitals in Sydney and Perth.
She completed a residency in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care at the Royal Veterinary College in London, United Kingdom, with a concurrent Master of Veterinary Medicine, in 2019.

Dr. Donaldson became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2019 and is a registered Specialist in small animal emergency and critical care. She returned to Queensland Veterinary Specialists in 2019.
She loves all aspects of critical care medicine including mechanical ventilation, transfusion medicine, septic shock and management of the critical post-operative patient.
